Meet The Team

I have been working in the dental field since 2017; I originally started as a sterilization technician and slowly worked my way up to becoming a dental assistant. I have been with Sierra Oral and Facial Surgery for almost three years now. The best part of working in our office is helping nervous patients and seeing their relief when treatment is finished.

Fun Fact: I have a cute kei van that I occasionally work on as a fun Sunday car.

After graduating high school in California, I obtained an EMT course completion certificate and became nationally certified, I worked for my graduating High School as the Athletic Trainer and coached competitive gymnastics. In 2016, I moved to Reno and spent a couple years working retail when I found SOFS and fell in love again with patient care and learning all things oral surgery. I especially enjoy treatment planning and coordinating large implant cases.

Fun Fact: In my spare time I enjoy baking sweet treats from scratch and sharing them with my coworkers. Cinnamon rolls are my specialty.

Heather brings more than 12 years of experience in the oral surgery field and is committed to providing every patient with a positive, compassionate experience. She enjoys building strong relationships with patients while helping them feel informed and comfortable throughout their treatment journey. Heather takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service, supporting an efficient office environment, and ensuring patients receive the highest level of care. She values teamwork and enjoys being part of a practice dedicated to improving patients' oral health and overall well-being.

Outside of work, Heather enjoys running, walking, lifting weights, and spending time with her husband and 2 German Shepherds, Kona and Sydney.

Education: Bachelor's Degree, State University of New York at Plattsburgh (Sunny Plattsburgh)

Fun Fact: I was born and raised in Fernley, NV! I moved to Reno, NV about 2 years ago.

Johanna brings over 30 years of experience in the medical and dental fields to our practice. Her diverse healthcare background includes working in a hospital surgical unit, home health, and dentistry. She also holds a degree in Medical/Dental Billing and Coding, providing valuable expertise in healthcare operations, insurance processes, and patient support.

Born in Southern California and raised in Reno, Johanna is passionate about creating a welcoming experience for every patient. Outside the office, she enjoys community outreach and giving back by helping those in need throughout the Reno area.

I was born and raised in Reno, NV - I love this little city! My favorite part of my work is definitely the people! My coworkers are like my family, and interacting with patients is the best part of every day.

I have been at Sierra Oral Surgery for five years. I'm a dental assistant and I also help up front with Spanish speakers,
scheduling and treatment coordinating. My favorite part of working at SOFS is working with Dr. Falke and Dr. Bentjen,
they are two, truly amazing humans. Also, I enjoy the beautiful views from our operatory room!

I was born in Los Angeles and raised in the Carson-Reno area.I am a dog mom to a 6 year-old dobermann, Daisy.

When I'm not at work you can catch me either at home spending time with my baby girl or on an adventure somewhere
outdoors.

I am dedicated in making a positive and welcoming experience for every patient. I enjoy building meaningful relationship with patients and helping them feel comfortable and supported. I value teamwork and being a part of an amazing team that is patient focused, and committed to providing the best care for everyone.

I was born in Colorado and raised in Reno. I enjoy being outside: hiking and spending time with my friends and family. I enjoy traveling and can't wait to see more of the world.

I have 10+ years of experience in retail that has helped me in what I love to do, which is patient care. What I enjoy most about my job is getting to care for people.
